NEW YEARs WEEKEND IN PROVINCETOWN |
My dev team celebrated New Years Eve 2015 in Provincetown while working on a geeky project for a large high tech client. What a great place to spend the holiday! Much quieter than the summer tourist haven I was used to, but serenely gorgeous none the less. We were working to upgrade the client's old software using our very own legacy systems integration techniques while taking breaks to enjoy the foodie spots that were open and ready to celebrate. In spite of the distractions, we were able to pull off the bulk of the heavy lifting and the client rewarded us with a super New Year's Eve dinner at Napi's. From there we watched the Parade of Freaks (most of us) marching along the beach until sunrise. The beauty of working remotely allowed us to modernize the client's legacy back office systems while also making the most of Provincetown's unique culture. We'll be back!

New. Modern. At our newest restaurant you'll find a big city feel: white subway tiles framed in stainless behind the raw bar. A wall of antique oars rises behind the host stand, dividing the waiting area from the dining room. In the bar a 15-foot three fish triptych painted by Mac's wife, Traci Harmon-Hay, sets the tone. It's all about warm, comfortable, and clean. We've got a full sushi and raw bar, and a new list of beers on tap. In the kitchen Mac's turning out old favorites like crispy fried fish tacos, seared scallops, and pan roasted halibut. But he's also experimenting with new dishes with his Chef de Cuisine, Vanessa Miller — try the tuna crudo, whole roasted monk in a garlic cream sauce, or homemade lobster gnocchi. As one of our reviewers claimed, "It's to die for!" That's what we like to hear. Open daily for lunch and dinner, closed Wednesdays |
